DESCRIPTION:District 1980 and the Rotary Club Basel-Dreiländereck take gr
 eat pleasure in inviting you to the first English-speaking Apéro\n\nThes
 e monthly Monday evening Apéros are intended as a platform for English-sp
 eaking Rotarians to meet\, make new contacts and deepen the interactions b
 etween members of local clubs. It’s also an excellent opportunity for Ro
 tarians on or beginning an assignment with an international company in the
  region to establish a network and begin/accelerate their integration. For
  those that would like to learn\, practice or improve their English skills
 \, this is an opportunity. This Apéro will subsequently take place every
  second Monday of every month\, beginning at 6:00 pm in the Swissôtel Le 
 Plaza (Messeplatz 25\, Basel). \n\nRotarians are also welcome to invite g
 uests that are visiting or that they believe may be interested in joining 
 Rotary to get a feel for our members and learn what being a Rotarian means
  through the experience of others. Of course\, it’s also an opportunity 
 to earn “a presence\,” but we’re certain that it can and will be muc
 h more.\n\nThe first Apéro is being co-sponsored by our District and the 
 RC Basel-Dreiländereck. District Governor Urs Klemm\, a big supporter of 
 this initiative\, will attend. Thereafter\, aperitifs will be on a pay by 
 the drink basis\, at reasonable prices negotiated with the Swissôtel Le P
