“The Great Escape” is a project dedicated to nostalgia, tropical nights and the sound of the raindrops.
Kasia Jackowska is investigating the territory between photography and ink drawing, overlaying the seen and felt. Some prints are left untouched, others are overpainted with china and shellac inks, cut and rewaved into new compositions.
This exhibition consists of new works and overpainted prints from the successful big show “One Hundred Palmtrees in the Rain”, held this May in Photobastei in Zürich.
